BCA Dozer 2T Avalanche Shovel Grey

The BCA Dozer 2T avalanche shovel is the mid-sized BCA avalanche shovel for professionals and advanced recreationalists. It has a larger blade and longer extended length than the Dozer 1T.All of BCA's new dozer blades are equipped with concave shafts and low profile blades that can be glued together. The front third of the blade provides a smooth surface for clearing the walls of the snow area during snow stability tests. With BCA's flat 'stomp edge' on the blade, you can penetrate almost anything by adding body weight. Self-engaging spring pins at the blade/shaft connection allow for faster, hands-free mounting/deployment. BCA paddles lay flat in your pack with no ferrule or 'neck' sticking out, leaving more room for other backcountry gear. All BCA extendable shovels are designed to meet the UIAA standard for avalanche rescue shovels.
