From motorcycling to alpine sports to skiing and mountain biking, this material disperses energy for optimal shock absorption. In its raw form, the molecules of the material flow freely, allowing it to be soft and flexible, but on impact, they come together to dissipate the energy of the impact and reduce the force transmitted. After impact, the molecules return to their initial state and the material is soft and flexible again, but still protective.
