The minimalist-looking cover is made of a durable polyurethane laminate material combined with a comfortable mesh. This construction reduces performance and provides durable foot support where it is needed most. The fit is practical and quick thanks to BOA's unique bi-directional Li2 dial. At the base, the carbon fibre R2 sole design saves weight and provides increased stiffness, with a stiffness rating of 10, making this sole the most responsive in the Fizik range. A wide air intake and deep internal ducting provide constant ventilation. The cleat position is slightly set back compared to traditional settings to optimise pedalling efficiency and reduce knee compression, especially suitable for very aggressive and forward aerodynamic positions.
