Galfer FM 140/160 mm front caliper adapter

The Galfer FM 140/160 mm front caliper adapter is a component designed for bicycles with a Flat Mount brake system. This adapter allows the fitting of 140 or 160 mm brake discs, ensuring correct alignment and optimal braking performance.Manufactured with a solid yet lightweight construction, the Galfer FM adapter is intended for road, gravel, and cyclocross bikes using Flat Mount fittings. Its installation requires four bolts, two to attach to the caliper and two to the fork or frame, and it is recommended to be carried out by a specialist to avoid damage. Additionally, it includes two bolts to facilitate assembly and is designed to prevent the use of axial spacer mounts on discs larger than 180 mm, thus guaranteeing the safety and durability of the braking system. This adapter improves compatibility between different rotor sizes without compromising brake functionality, offering a practical and robust solution for those needing to adapt their brakes to oversized discs.
