The Grivel Jorrases 2.0 Ice Axe features a forged, single-piece, hand-polished Chromoly steel head with the full length of a neoclassic pick. The modified reverse curve orientation allows the blade to be rotated easily, providing excellent placement on various ice tips. The blade is reinforced by a "network" that follows the lines of force. The shaft, made from Ergal 7075 light alloy, conforms to CE and UIAA standards.
