Hutchinson Caracal Race Tubeless Ready Racing Lab Tyre Black Brown

The Hutchinson Caracal Race Tubeless Ready Racing Lab tyre set a singular goal, to serve its teams and elite athletes by creating the fastest gravel tyre on the market. After an extensive period of research and development, this has been achieved, with the Caracal Race outperforming competitors by up to 35% in independent tests commissioned by Hutchinson. These unparalleled levels of gravel performance have been achieved by using two new technologies initially developed for Hutchinson's latest high-performance competition tyre, the Blackbird. First, the tyre uses the new 'SwiftEasy'. Unlike typical casings that overlap in the center of the tread, the new casing is bonded to the outer layer of the tyre. This method means that one less layer of casing is needed in the center, allowing for greater flexibility and performance. Rolling resistance is reduced by 40% compared to semi tyres in the Hutchinson range. The Caracal Race also uses the new Mach Tread 3.
