The Joma R.5000 shoes offer a competition-focused design, combining extreme lightness with a carbon plate that enhances propulsion. Weighing just 247 grams, they allow you to maintain high paces over short distances without sacrificing support or ventilation, thanks to a technical upper and heat-sealed fit.The R.5000 are approved by World Athletics as a specific competition model and have been tested by professional athletes such as Mercy Kibor at the Two Oceans Marathon and Ikram Rharsalla at the Seville Marathon. Their upper is made from technical mesh, which is very light and breathable, while VTS technology reduces heat build-up to keep the foot cool and comfortable during exertion. The JOMA SPORTECH heat-sealed fit system provides support without adding extra weight. The CARBON PLATE carbon plate delivers exceptional propulsion by maximising energy transfer with every stride; its stiffness optimises efficiency and reduces effort and muscle fatigue.
