POC Tempor Helmet White

The award-winning POC Tempor helmet has been designed to provide the cutting-edge technology required in time trial racing. It has superior aerodynamic and safety performance and the EPS liner provides a high level of protection with increased thickness in the most exposed areas. In the development process, POC involved Olympic time trial medallist Gustav Larsson and aerodynamics specialists from Semcon. POC's conceptual approach to aerodynamics was to look at the rider as a single body mass, rather than isolating the head from the rest of the body. POC used CFD aerodynamic simulations for evaluation and optimization. The two air intakes in the front reduce air resistance by guiding air through the helmet and past the shoulders. This airflow also provides generous ventilation.
