Shimano XTR 9100 12V 38/28D Hollowtech II Direct Mount Crankset

The Shimano XTR 9100 Hollowtech II crankset features the familiar hollow arm design, reducing the weight of the set by 80g. The brand has improved their lightness and stiffness, giving them a totally silent operation, an optimal power transfer at high speeds. It integrates a direct mounting system to be able to interchange the crankset and switch from single to double crankset. In the XTR 9100 range Shimano has created several crank sizes to cover more range in terms of adjustment possibilities in the drivetrain system. Formed entirely from special hollow aluminum for cranks, Shimano uses the cold forging system to form the metal using compressive force, achieving great rigidity while reducing the overall weight of the component.
