The Mammut Alpine Trad Sling 120 cm single-strand strap offers faster handling and, therefore, more safety than traditional straps. Instead of passing it over your head and arm, simply unhook the carabiner and remove the sling from your body. The Alpine Trad Sling uses the same amount of material as a round sling, but instead of being sewn into a closed ring, the single-strand construction has a loop at each end to hold a carabiner. The intermediate fasteners can be quickly and easily shortened from 120 to 60 or 30 cm.
