Switch Upper Integrated IS52/28.6 No Cable Guide Headset black red

The Ritchey Comp Switch headset replacement is an essential component for bicycles that enhances the routing of cables and hydraulic lines. This replacement is part of the Ritchey Comp Switch system, specifically designed to work with the Switch Stem handlebar. Its main function is to allow cables, electric wires, and hydraulic lines to be routed from the handlebar to the bicycle frame in an organised manner without interfering with the steering movement. The system includes a conduit at the bottom of the Switch Stem that directs the cables through an opening in the headset spacers and then along two upper channels before entering the frame. Thanks to this design, the headset bearings can operate without obstruction, improving the precision and durability of the steering system. This replacement is ideal for cyclists seeking a clean and efficient cable installation, maintaining the bicycle’s aesthetics and optimal performance.
